Quadrante nasce da un’idea e da una passione per gli orologi di due amici, Roberto Fiacchini Anselmi meglio conosciuto nel mondo dello spettacolo come il figlio di Renato Zero e l’ing. Salvatore Fucci. Questa idea non aveva un nome, ma una sera Renato Zero il “poeta” a conferma della Sua genialità artistica ci dice: “perché non la chiamate Quadrante?”.
Un nome che può sembrare tanto banale ma che non tutti possono pensare.

Born in the cold Moscow and moved ten years ago in a small island in the Bahamas, the photographer Elena Kalis has let herself permeate by the sense of an element that in this earthly paradise has a unique cultural and practical value: the water.
This is where her imagination comes to life in a dreamlike dimension, in a muffled atmosphere that gives to the viewer too the feeling of being immersed. Things and people are seen through a lens that allows access to a world imaginative and fantastic, totally far from an everyday that appears to us, by comparison, trivial and monochrome. The movement’s fluidity of the protagonists of the shots seem to infect the objects in the scene, leaving their static to animate and interact actively. The water becomes an element of life in the most extended sense, with her new role and purpose of returning light to matter and to imagination itself. The latest artist project, “Alice in Waterland,” has a very appropriate title, because watching these amazing shots that is how you feels: as if he had pursued the White Rabbit to sink into a parallel reality, where the common order of things is subverted, and nothing is what it seems.

Nata nella fredda Mosca e trasferitasi dieci anni fa in una piccola isola delle Bahamas, la fotografa Elena Kalis sì è lasciata permeare dal senso di un elemento che in questo paradiso terrestre ha una valenza pratica e culturale unica: l’acqua.
È qui che prende vita il suo immaginario, in una dimensione onirica, in un’atmosfera ovattata che dà a chi guarda la sensazione di essere anch’egli immerso. Cose e persone sono viste attraverso una lente che permette l’accesso ad un mondo fantasioso e fantastico, totalmente distante da un quotidiano che ci appare poi, al confronto, banale e monocromatico. La fluidità di movimento dei protagonisti degli scatti sembra contagiare anche gli oggetti in scena, che abbandonano la loro staticità per animarsi ed interagire attivamente. L’acqua diventa così elemento di vita nell’accezione più estesa del termine, con il suo nuovo ruolo di restituire luce e scopo alla materia e alla fantasia stessa. L’ultimo progetto dell’artista, “Alice in Waterland”, ha un titolo quanto mai opportuno, perché guardando questi fantastici scatti è proprio così che ci si sente: come se si fosse inseguito il Bianconiglio fino a sprofondare in una realtà parallela, in cui l’ordine comune delle cose è sovvertito e niente è ciò che sembra.
