For this second edition will be exceptional partner Fashion Room (bookstore specializing in books on design) and Tribeca Factory (Prato) and will have the sponsorship of the District 1DI Florence.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: normal;">New anthropocentric era is announcing. Man, body, ego and spirit return to be the first protagonist and nucleus about whom to evolve issues. The “anxiety” of here and now has driven the inquiry to a spiral course that from the greatest systems has reached the man in his unequivocal presence. Finding this way an excellent surface to pierce. Art talks using the present. Art tells man using man. The language is perfectly ambivalent describing what is drawn from human, synthesized and reoffered by interesting perceptive conditions. The audience is dipped and encompassed into the opera, while his deep and sensorial universe become a source and a returning point, like a repulsed reflection having a person as his centre, which is the tester and the author himself of his subjective and active vision of the artwork. Getting into the space of La Pelanda, at the Mattatoio di Testaccio, it’s a continuous flow of energies, an exchange between man and opera, between man and man. Each installation provokes. Minimal reactions, physical, sensorial, synaptic, in nine structures in which enter to make them vibrating, the art that doesn’t take place if the spectator is not a part of this. Now more than ever. The exhibition, staged by Fondazione Romaeuropa, shows the following artists: Ryuichi Sakamoto, Shiro Takatani, Jeffrey Shaw, Ulf Langheinrich, Jean Michel Bruyère, Erwin Redl, Thomas McIntosh, Emmanuel Madan, Martux_M, Mikko Hynninen, Julien Maire, Christian Partos. <p>Si annuncia una nuova era antropocentrica. L’uomo, corpo, ego e spirito torna ad essere il principale protagonista e nucleo attorno al quale sviluppare le questioni. “L’ansia” del qui e ora ha spinto le indagini in un percorso a spirale che dai  massimi sistemi ha raggiunto l’uomo nella sua inequivocabile presenza. Trovando così un’ ottima superficie da penetrare. L’arte parla al presente. L’arte parla dell’uomo con l’uomo. L’ambivalenza è perfetta per descrivere un linguaggio che trae dall’umano, lo sintetizza e lo ripropone all’individuo attraverso interessanti modalità percettive. Lo spettatore è immerso,  inglobato nell’opera, il suo universo profondo e sensoriale diviene fonte e punto di ritorno, come un riflesso respinto che ha la persona come centro, sperimentatore e autore egli stesso della sua soggettiva e attiva visione dell’opera. Entrando nello spazio espositivo de La Pelanda, al Mattatoio di Testaccio, è un continuo fluire di energie, di scambi, tra uomo e opera, tra uomo e uomo. Ogni istallazione provoca. Reazioni minime, fisiche, sensoriali, sinaptiche, in nove strutture in cui addentrarsi per farle vibrare, l’arte che non ha luogo se di questo non fa parte anche lo spettatore. <p><span style="font-weight: normal;">The catalog dedicated to Gino Marotta exhibition held at Roman Macro, is edited by Christian Maretti Editore, with texts by Luca Massimo Barbero and it concerns journeys. The course crosses the entire artist’s production, retrospective analysis of a peculiar way to face art, looking through expressive and linguistic skills, as an exploration in the molecules of the matter and obliged deconstruction of a vertical exam. The presence of works from the late sixties and beginning of the seventies: sculptures of plants and animals in colored and transparent methacrylate, along with a site specific opera, <em>Ricognizione virtuale della Savana</em>, indicates a linear path during the evolution of the artist’s poetic. The constant experimentation reaches a “virtual recognition”, which means to handle contemporaneous an technological instruments in order to investigate the potentials of plasticity, light and color, assumed as metalinguistic tokens. It’s a discussion over the opposition between Natural and Artificial, from which it might originate a sense of modern sublime, opening a breach into the fear. So the Eden where a sudden beauty appears. Marotta keeps questioning himself over transition, formulating hypothesis which instead of closing the way, they melt together as a solid launch pad for the art to come. A catalog where the sense of the exhibition is totally captured by the shot of Lorenzo Cerretta. Photograph studies the opera showing it us nude, explicated, without losing tension. In the walk of art there’s always someone who smooth the way, a pioneer, a enchanter as Gino Marotta is, by creating his “real artifices”. FRANCESCA VATTERONI</p>
<p>Il catalogo dedicato alla mostra di Gino Marotta, organizzata dal Macro di Roma, è edito da Christian Maretti Editore, con testi di Luca Massimo Barbero e parla di viaggi. Il percorso attraversa tutta la produzione dell’artista, analisi retrospettiva di un particolare modo di affrontare l’arte, sondandone capacità espressive e linguistiche, come un viaggio tra le molecole della materia e decostruzione obbligata di un esame verticale. La presenza di opere di fine anni sessanta e inizi dei settanta: sculture di piante e animali in metacrilato trasparente e colorato, accanto all’opera creata in occasione della mostra, <em>Ricognizione virtuale della Savana</em>, indica un moto lineare lungo l’evoluzione della poetica dell’artista. Sperimentazione costante che approda ad una “ricognizione virtuale” appunto, che significa fare propri strumenti contemporanei e tecnologici per un’indagine circa le potenzialità di plasticità, luce e colore, intesi come segni metalinguistici. È una discussione sull’opposizione di Naturale e Artificiale, dalla quale può scaturire un senso di sublime moderno, che apre un varco alla paura. Allora un Eden in cui appare una bellezza improvvisa. Marotta continua a interrogarsi sul cambiamento, a fare acute ipotesi che invece di chiudere la strada, si fondono come un solido trampolino di lancio per l’arte a venire. Un catalogo dove il senso della mostra è pienamente catturato dagli scatti di Lorenzo Ceretta. La fotografia studia l’opera mostrandocela nuda, esplicata, senza perderne la tensione. Nel cammino dell’arte c’è sempre qualcuno che spiana la strada, un pioniere, un incantatore, come lo è Gino Marotta con la creazione dei suoi “artifici reali”. FRANCESCA VATTERONI</p>

Si divide tra gli ambienti indie e il panorama istituzionale, forte di un portfolio eclettico che spazia dalle testate a pubblicazioni underground, senza tralasciare la nicchia del luxury, le incursioni nella stampa estera e il lavoro svolto a contatto con le celebrities e i personaggi. Per lei lo styling è solo una delle possibili forme di espressione, di racconto, di narrazione, di evocazione di mondi reali o di immaginativi. Lungi dal percorrere un’unica strada stilistica da replicare all’infinito, shooting dopo shooting, Marzia indaga differenti stili, shiftando camaleonticamente da un registro a un altro. <p><span style="font-weight: normal;">Nature is exaltation of colors and sounds; colors and sounds are, their way, first emotions’ spring and images’ panders. Geir Jennsen aka Biosphere, with Manuel Zurria (wind instruments) and Gianluca Ruggeri (percussion), spent two weeks travelling on the Mekong, in Vietnam, immersed into the landscape’s sonority, beats, birdsongs, the wind whoosh, the dialogue of the running water. A journey that seems going towards the origins of music, crossing a musical  genre which admits a “Naturalistic trend in music”, getting along with the musicologist and composer François-Bernard Mâche, who considers some species of bird kind of colleagues! Biosphere’s music is defined as Artic Ambient and Ambient Techno, rich in Nordic sonorities, experimentations and rhythms close to the Dance Floor. In concert they propose sonorous tableau, evocation of melodic places, sampling of the scenery’s sounds accompanied by traditional instruments. A music dedicated to nature and to her deep contemplation suggests us to reflect about the essence of sound, song, rhythm and language, fascinating, still mysterious. <p>La natura è esaltazione di colori e di suoni; colori e suoni sono, a loro volta, le prime sorgenti d’emozioni e procacciatori d’immagini. Geir Jennsen aka Biosphere, insieme a Manuel Zurria (strumenti a fiato) e Gianluca Ruggeri (percussioni) hanno trascorso due settimane navigando in battello il Mekong, in Vietnam, immersi nella sonorità del paesaggio, tra pulsazioni, canti di uccelli, il fruscio del vento, il dialogo dell’acqua che scorre. Un viaggio che pare andare verso le origini della musica, attraversando un filone musicale che riconosce un “Naturalistic trend in music”, d’accordo con il musicologo e compositore François-Bernard Mâche che considera certe specie di uccelli dei colleghi! La musica di Biosphere viene definita come Artic Ambient e Ambient Techno, ricca di sonorità nordiche, sperimentazioni e ritmi vicini al Dance Floor. In concerto propongono tavole sonore, evocazioni di luoghi melodici, con campionature dei suoni del paesaggio accompagnati da strumenti tradizionali. Una musica dedicata alla natura e  alla sua profonda contemplazione ci suggerisce di riflettere circa l’essenza del suono, del canto, del ritmo e del linguaggio, affascinanti, ancora misteriosi. <p><span style="font-weight: normal;">Artistic creation always starts from a premonitory mood to expression, often in visible or symbolic form, which then entwines itself with matter. Some after the dialogue between shapes, each part even in minimal details, brings into the world his living power, in a rhythmic flow which links thoughts, images, perceptive and representative abilities. Everything spins around two eternal constant, reality, attending as emulation or overcoming effort and the contingent need to create. What is conditioning the artistic result, imposing a forced path, is definitely the expressive medium, the matter itself. Peducci-Savini in this sense collaborate with marble and create a polyphonic dialogue of forms. Since a research relating surfaces, they work in order to create new and peculiar textures: the marble appears to be soft and friable as foam, or it is carved as burned wood. Visual after tactile illusion, in the latest works, playful assemblages of many canons, anachronism and heterogenic in a vision of contemporary that actualizes, surprises, in a moment it is both quotation and originality. It rises a grotesque poetic, where each artwork lives in a world that is possible and made necessary by the artistic contingency. Rome, Italy, 2010, we’re ready to this!<br />

<p>La creazione artistica parte sempre da uno stato premonitorio all’espressione, spesso in forma visibile o simbolica, che poi si inanella, da solo, con la materia. Poi il dialogo tra forme, ogni parte anche nei suoi minimi dettagli, porta al mondo la propria forza vivifica, in un andamento ritmico che lega pensieri, immagini, facoltà percettive e rappresentative. Tutto ruota attorno a due costanti eterne, la realtà, presente in forma di emulazione o superamento e la contingente necessità di creare. Ciò che condiziona l’esito artistico, imponendo un percorso obbligato, è sicuramente il medium espressivo, il mezzo, la materia stessa. Peducci-Savini in questo senso collaborano con il marmo e creano un dialogo polifonico di forme. Partendo da una ricerca intorno alle superfici, lavorano in modo da ricreare textures nuove ed insolite: il marmo illude di essere morbido e friabile come il polistirolo, o viene scolpito come un tronco d’albero bruciato. Illusione tattile ma anche visiva nelle opere più recenti, scherzosi assemblaggi di canoni, anacronismo ed eterogeneità, in una visione del contemporaneo che attualizza, spiazza e in un solo momento è citazione e originalità. Nasce una poetica quasi grottesca, dove ogni opera vive in un suo mondo possibile ed è reso necessario proprio dalla contingenza artistica. Roma, Italia, 2010, siamo pronti per questo!<br />

<p><span style="font-weight: normal;">An 1840’s railway station with an unmistakable neo-classical style in the heart of Milan. An external front, results of a restore’s process lasted three years, which is a preamble to an interior, to tell the truth, fabulous. This is the location of the new concept hotel Maison Moschino, linked to the Hotel Philosophy’s chain. 65 room and junior suites decorated with 16 different themes. Single thread, in fact, the fable. Wandering through the rooms you can walk in the clouds, take tea in Wonderland on huge caps that replace the tables, or sleep in a giant red evening gown, a bed so special as to dream even the most cynical of women. The style has the unmistakable stamp of Moschino, essentially basic but with the careful introduction of alienating and surreal elements, for an environment with a taste (little) Cheap &amp; (very) Chic.<br />

<p>Una stazione ferroviaria del 1840 dall’evidente stile neoclassico situata nel cuore di Milano. Una facciata esterna, frutto di un processo di restauro durato tre anni, che è preambolo ad un interno, c’è da dirlo, da favola. Questa è la location del nuovo concept hotel Maison Moschino, legato alla catena alberghiera Hotel Philosophy. 65 tra camere e junior suites arredate con 16 temi diversi tra loro. Unico filo conduttore, appunto, la favola. Girando per le stanze si può passeggiare tra le nuvole, prendere il tè nel Paese delle Meraviglie su enormi tazzine che sostituiscono i tavolini, o dormire in un gigante abito da sera rosso, un letto tanto speciale da far sognare anche la più cinica delle donne. Lo stile ha l’inconfondibile impronta Moschino, essenzialmente basico ma con l’oculata introduzione di elementi stranianti e surreali, per un ambiente dal sapore (poco) Cheap &amp; (molto) Chic.<br />

<p><span style="font-weight: normal;">At only 24 years old the young Laura Laine is rapidly imposing as a reference figure in the world of illustration and glamour. Finnish from Helsinky, she studied fashion design at the University of Art and Design in her city, then specilizing in the branch of illustration. Established giants like Tommy Hilfiger, Elle Girl, The New Yorker and Muse Magazine were impressed by the melancholic, dreamy and ethereal female figures that the artist depicts with delicate but highly effective strokes, results of a 100% manual technique that gives a unique alchemy of strength and grace. The protagonist’s detachment is momentary and apparent, fated to come to life when they approach to the iconic Chanel 2.55, which in turn seems to be so special thanks to the touch of these modern princesses. Yes, modern, because with their high heels and their improbable travels on balloons and swings (that turn out to be bags), the protagonists of these tales seems to descend from the classic white horse to finally find their true happy ending: the glamour.<br />

<p>A soli 24 anni la giovane Laura Laine si sta già rapidamente imponendo come figura di riferimento nel mondo dell’illustrazione e del glamour. Finlandese di Helsinky, ha studiato fashion design alla University of Art and Design della sua città, specializzandosi poi nel ramo dell’illustrazione. Mostri sacri come Tommy Hilfiger, Elle Girl, il The New Yorker e il Muse Magazine sono rimasti conquistati dalle figure femminili così malinconiche, eteree e sognatrici che l’artista rappresenta con tratti delicati ma fortemente incisivi, frutto di una tecnica al 100% manuale che gli conferisce un’alchimia unica di forza e grazia. Quello delle protagoniste è un distacco momentaneo ed apparente, destinato ad animarsi subito quando si accostano alla ormai iconica 2.55 di Chanel, che a sua volta sembra diventare tanto speciale proprio grazie al tocco di queste principesse moderne. Moderne, sì, perché con i loro tacchi a spillo e gli improbabili viaggi su mongolfiere e altalene che si rivelano poi essere borsette, le protagoniste di queste fiabe sembrano scendere dal classico cavallo bianco per trovare finalmente il loro vero lieto fine: il glamour.<br />
