The strict rigidity of mathematics and geometry. The malleability of creativity and design. There seem two worlds at odds? You’re forced to think again looking at the line of jewelry produced by Nervous System, taking advantage of a great passion for both managed to join two apparently irreconcilable worlds to create a unique and eclectic product. Founded in 2007 by Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg, the Nervous System produces with gold, silver, steel, nylon but especially in silicone, with a production process that requires fewer steps and a great attention to the ethically made. Jewel is not designed in its entirety but it is the result of a mathematical system that generates multiple geometric shapes, the combination of which leads then to the final product. The result is a very graphic style that manages to be large and showy although formed by subtle elements and essential, and totally unconventional.

La rigorosa rigidità della matematica e della geometria. La malleabilità della creatività e del design. Vi sembrano due mondi agli antipodi? Sarete costretti a ricredervi guardando la linea di gioielli prodotta da Nervous System, che sfruttando una grande passione per entrambi è riuscita ad unire due universi apparentemente inconciliabili per creare un prodotto unico ed eclettico. Fondata nel 2007 da Jessica Rosenkrantz e Jesse Louis-Rosemberg, la Nervous System produce in oro, argento, acciaio, nylon ma soprattutto in silicone, con un processo di produzione che prevede pochi passaggi e una grande attenzione allo sviluppo etico. il gioiello non viene progettato nella sua integrità ma è appunto frutto di un sistema matematico che genera molteplici forme geometriche, l’accostamento delle quali condurrà poi al prodotto definitivo. Il risultato è uno stile molto grafico, che riesce ad essere ampio ed appariscente nonostante sia formato da elementi sottili ed essenziali, e totalmente non convenzionale.

Would you ever say that the moka rubber ring you use to make coffee with every morning when you wake up would spend the rest of the day or the night with you?? It is hard to believe!!!Yeah, that rubber ring now is unrecognizable but here it is…turned into a special necklace, perfect for your look! It’s only one of the very original ideas that Lusilla Voci, an architect and designer from Rome, give birth to with her sparkling creativity using and re-using different varieties of objects in her creations. That being said you would not be surprised looking at bookshelves and lightened tables made out of tube’s and pipes sections or bright and glittering necklaces created using reflector mirrors that are not going to make you unnoticed in your best nights! Lusilla Voci grew up in a family that made her appreciate the beauty of art since she was little; she followed that path through her undergraduate art school and the Faculty of architecture. Now she works as an architect but she has never neglected her search in different forms of art, from sculpture to photography or design. Lusilla lives and works in Pigneto, one of the most interesting neighborhoods in Rome in terms of new tendencies; since 2009 she created, together with two other friends, a space, a shop-window, there at “Lì.boh” it is possible to appreciate and taste the creativity of many young artists and it won’t be hard to recognize all her creative collection.

….basta aprire gli orizzonti e far volare la fantasia ed ecco che ciò che abbiamo sotto gli occhi tutti i giorni assume un aspetto “ altrodasè”…avreste mai potuto dire che la guarnizione della “moka” che utilizzate ogni mattina appena svegli, avrebbe passato con voi anche la serata?? Roba da non crederci, e come? Si,si, è irriconoscibile ma eccola lì, trasformata in una originalissima collana a guarnire il vostro look! E’ solo una delle trovate geniali partorite dalla fervente mente di Lusilla Voci, architetto e designer romano, che non manca di estro nell’ “uso-riuso” degli oggetti che rappresentano le sue creazioni. Con queste premesse non ci si meraviglierà più nel vedere librerie e tavolini luminosi che se vai a guardare bene sono sezioni di tubi corrugati, o splendidi e “splendenti” ciondoli ottenuti da specchietti catarifrangenti e che di certo non vi faranno passare inosservati nelle serate più trendy! Cresciuta in una famiglia che le ha fatto apprezzare sin da bambina la bellezza dell’arte, Lusilla porta avanti la sua formazione senza dubbi di orientamento, passando dal liceo artistico alla facoltà di architettura. Lavora come architetto ma non trascura la ricerca in altre forme , dalla scultura alla fotografia e al design. Vive e lavora in uno dei quartieri emergenti più interessanti del panorama romano: il “Pigneto”, dove dal 2009, con la collaborazione di due amiche, ha creato uno spazio-vetrina, Lì.boh,  nel quale è possibile assaporare ogni gusto dell’estro di vari artisti emergenti e nel quale non si avrà difficoltà a riconoscere tutta la sua collezione creativa.

MUMUTZU urban invaders is a trademark of accessories and streetwear clothing and self-produced self-financed, born in January 2007. Originally a passion for design eccentric, packaging, T-shirts and everything else is incidental. Graphic material, minimal; lines and sharp color backgrounds. Product design simple and clean, but never granted. Within the production accessories designed for the urban cyclist and collector of vinyl. The mark on your little one is sensitive to climate protection and the environment. The new collection of T-shirts, in fact, is printed entirely on organic cotton and packaging and labels are made of 100% recycled paper.

MUMUTZU urban invaders è un marchio d’accessori e abbigliamento streetwear autoprodotto e autofinanziato, nato nel gennaio del 2007. All’origine la passione per il design eccentrico, il packaging, le T-shirts e tutto ciò che è accessorio. Grafiche essenziali, minimali; linee e campiture nette di colore. Prodotti dal design semplice e pulito, ma mai scontati. All’interno della produzione accessori appositamente studiati per il ciclista urbano e il collezionista di vinile. Il marchio nel proprio piccolo è sensibile alla salvaguardia del clima e dell’ambiente. La nuova collezione di T-shirts, infatti, è stampata interamente su cotone organico ed il packaging e i cartellini sono realizzati in carta 100% riciclata.

A big rabbit with long ears, made with fabrics that reflect the latest trends in fashion and design does not forget his passion for vintage fabrics, this is Big Lapin.
A Toys craftsmanship, limited edition with a strong graphic for both the tissues with which it is done for its form so that ‘clean and dry at the same time inviting and enveloping.
Anna Puorro Designer and photographer, is the creator of these wonderful creatures.
Attracted by all that is eclectic and colorful have a real passion for art objects and fetishes creative.
He loves the “fog” of the works of William Turner and the arts of Colin Christian. This
apparent inconsistency of his passions is reflected in the dichotomy of his style: sometimes strict as the essence of the Bauhaus more overtly pop.

Un grande coniglio dalle lunghe orecchie, realizzato con tessuti che tengono conto delle ultime tendenze della moda e del design non dimenticando la passione per i tessuti vintage: questo è Big Lapin. Un Toys artigianale, in edizione limitata e con una forte impronta grafica sia per i tessuti con cui viene fatto che per la sua forma cosi’ pulita ed asciutta ma allo stesso tempo invitante e avvolgente. Anna Puorro  Designer e fotografa, è l’ideatrice di queste meravigliose creature. Attratta da tutto ciò che è eclettico e colorato ha una vera e propria passione per gli oggetti d’arte ed i feticci creativi. Ama contemporaneamente le “nebbie” di William Turner e le opere di Colin Christian.
